Meet Nina Ellis

Nina is a member of the Trident Chapter of the South Carolina Spinal Cord Injury Association. I decided to interview her because she exemplifies that anything is possible while living with a disability.

Before Nina was injured, she loved to draw. She has submitted her drawings in competitions at the Charleston Artist’s Guild and the Gibbes Art Museum in Charleston, SC.

Even though she’s had some challenges after her car accident, she is thankful that she has the ability to be an artist. Nina plans to go back to school and get a degree in art.

Please watch this video where Nina shares her experiences of living with a disabily and her passion for drawing.
