Winter Paralympics in Sochi, Russia

Athletes from all over the world are coming together in Sochi, Russia to participate in the Winter Paralympics. People with a variety of disabilities are showing that they are just as competitive and outgoing as anyone else when it comes to sports.

It’s remarkable to hear the stories of triumph where individuals have overcome the adversities of their disabilities. It’s an even greater feat to conquer the challenges and become some of the best athletes in the world.

According to the USA Paralympics Team website, approximately 700 participants from 45 countries are participating in this year’s Winter Games. Our world is such a diverse place and I think it is amazing to see these Paralympians come together to showcase their talents.
