We all remember the lyrics “Over the river and through the woods to grandmother’s house we go.” Since I spent Thanksgiving with my grandmother and other family members, this song comes to mind this time of the year.

During the holiday season, AbleThrive is looking to hear about your travel tips and ideas for people with disabilities. You can share your photos and videos on their Facebook page. I will be sharing some of my experiences, and I’m looking forward to seeing what people have to offer. It’s important that we show that life can still be a fun adventure when living with a disability.

Comment below some of your favorite destinations and what helps you make the most of your travel experience.

I'm now 30 years old and I do not let my disability deter me from acheiving my goals and enjoying life. I will be sharing my experience of living with a spinal cord injury.
